HİSTORY OF CREATİON
When Jesse Shwayder founded the "Samsonite®" company in Denver in 1910, travel was reserved for a select few – only those with means could afford to travel and explore the world. For this reason, every trip became an unforgettable experience with transportation, attentive service personnel, and even travel accessories. As one of the first brands in this segment, "Samsonite" has spent over 100 years applying its expertise and innovative spirit to create high-quality and aesthetically pleasing products for travelers.
To this day, "Samsonite" remains a leader in the luggage manufacturing industry, staying true to Schweder’s ideas and spreading these principles worldwide, producing new products, and incorporating the latest technologies to open up new opportunities for consumers.

The founder of the company, Jesse Shwayder, changed the traditional design of the regular travel trunk by adding metal details and corner elements. As a result, the model became more aesthetic and durable.

Streamlite™
The company introduced the new generation "Streamlite" luggage. The main feature of these models was the lining with a "raw leather" effect. The suitcase with slightly rounded corners became a new classic.

Silhouette™
This suitcase was made using the most advanced technology and materials of its time. During the production process, the manufacturers decided to abandon the traditional form and, with the incorporation of a special furniture model into the body, they prevented the suitcase from being damaged during travel.

Classic Attaché
The first diplomat suitcase made of ABS plastic was introduced for the new generation of businessmen. In the 1960s, this elegant attaché case became an essential attribute for successful executives.

“Oyster™”
The first “Oyster” suitcase with a triple locking system was created. This system guarantees maximum strength, durability and security.
The model immediately gained great popularity: 140 thousand models were sold in the first year. This model became the fastest-selling suitcase in the history of luggage.

The four-wheeled "Spinner" suitcase was introduced to the market. This model, which easily maneuvers in any direction, allows for effortless movement without the need for much effort. This innovation made it easier for passengers to move around in modern airports, enhancing their mobility and comfort.

Cosmolite®
Samsonite introduced its lightest and most durable luggage collection, created using the innovative "Curv®" technology. This collection marked the launch of the "Cosmolite" project and quickly gained success. The collection received numerous accolades in the design field, including the "Red Dot Award" and the "Best of the Best" award.

Eko collection
"Samsonite" introduced 23 product lines worldwide. These models are made from "Recyclex" material, created using 100% recycled PET plastic bottles.

“S’Cure ECO” Green gray series
The "Green Gray" series of S'Cure ECO is Samsonite's first suitcase made from post-consumer recycled plastic waste. The suitcase's outer shell is made from polypropylene recycled from post-consumer household waste, turning a material that would otherwise be discarded into a high-quality, functional product.
